Perfect Place

We loved everything about the cottage it couldn;t have been better , the location and surrounds were idyllic, the cottage was beautifully decorated with a super comfortable bed. The kitchen was well stoked with everything we needed and the fresh farm eggs, olive oil with balsamic were extra touches you don't normally find. It was raining when we arrived so we enjoyed the ambiance of the gas fire and the bath was the perfect way to relax. The cottage was right on the coastal bike trail so we were able to ride to Napier the next day. Perfect will definately be back.

Beautiful place to stay

We had a lovely time staying at Te Awanga Cottages, cycling the Hawkes Bay trails. Being able to hire an electric bike from the cottage owners was a great advantage and made for enjoyable cycling tips. The cottage was lovely and clean, and very well appointed. The setting was very peaceful. We would highly recommend this place as a place to stay while in the Hawkes Bay.

We are so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay here and the new e-bikes. We hope to host you again in the future!

Brilliant

We had such a nice stay here. The cottage was well kept and extremely clean. It had the basics of everything you could need, including laundry. The bedroom has a half outdoor bath tub that overlooks the orchard. Abundant nature. Alpacas are just out the back door, and we saw rabbits and hedgehogs and more birds than we could count. Hosts were delightful. Its a really nice relaxing spot in a quiet corner, with a quick drive to Napier and a bunch of wineries. Not to mention right by the Cape Kidnappers walk.

happy guest

We enjoyed our stay at Te Awanga Cottages, one of the best kept secrets in Te Awanga! The cottage was beautiful, clean, tidy and comfortable. It felt inviting and relaxing with some thoughtful personal touches with everything you needed for a home away from home. The location was great, close enough to wineries, attractions and towns but far enough away to unwind. Will definatly return!

Magical place

The cottage is exquisite - classy and beautifully furnished and comfortable at the same time. It is in a stunning location with the sound of the sea and the peace of the countryside yet superb winery food is five minutes away. The owner and manager were both wonderful to communicate with and very welcoming and helpful. A very lovely place and a great find - highly recommended.

We are thrilled that you enjoyed the cottage and the surrounds so much and we really hope to host you again in the future !

Coastal and contemporary

A beautiful cottage, well appointed. Just sit on the deck and relax! Clean, modern and good taste. A walk to Hygee cafe is a nice start to the day.

Quite the retreat!

The most beautifully appointed cottages we've stayed in for a two -couple retreat. Just a pleasure to spend lazy hours reading, bathing (that bath!) eating, drinking wine bought at local wineries during the day in front of the fire at night. Thank you!
